Hi! I’m Lacey!

I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life and have been caring for neighbor’s pets since I was 10 years old! I’ve had the pleasure of caring for so many kitties over those years, as well as rats, snakes, guinea pigs, and a tortoise.

I graduated from Western Washington University in 2022 with a degree in biology with an emphasis in ecology and organismal biology. I’ve spent most of my life kindling relationships with many animals in different circumstances. I’ve interned at the Oakland Zoo where I got to work with zebras, exotic birds, tamarins, and reptiles. I worked at an animal rehabilitation center, where I spent time nursing baby birds and bunnies back to health. And I’ve worked as a dog handler at a boarding facility, where I got to meet so many unique and adorable pups and was able to be a calming presence in a scary environment.

I love spending time with all animals, enjoying their quirks and unique personalities! I also have experience with basic training and reinforcement for puppies, working with elderly dogs who are slow-moving or require medication, and dogs who have suffered abuse and need a little extra patience and kindness <3

I’m a big proponent of doing what’s best for each individual I’m caring for. Not every dog likes to go on fast paced walks, nor will every cat be happy with constant affection. Through talking to you and taking the time to get to know your pet, I’ll find what’s best for everybody to make sure your baby or babies get the most out of my visits!
